Here’s the low-down on accommodation in Cobourg for the OHCG’s 2025 Annual on May 10.  Many of you want to book your hotel stays now, and that’s great!  But remember that we are limited to only 240 attendees at the conference, so you’ll need to register for the conference as soon as possible after registration opens on January 1.

The Northumberland Rug Hookers have arranged for preferred rates at several area hotels.  Below is a handy dandy map showing you the hotels and the location of the Annual Conference at Victoria Hall.  All of the hotels are close to the 401.

Best Western:  930 Burnham Street, Cobourg.  This is the largest chain hotel close to Victoria Hall, located near Northumberland Mall.  It has an indoor swimming pool and whirlpool, and a fitness centre.  Arthur’s Pub is located onsite.

There is a special rate available to OHCG members for up to 2 nights: May 9 & 10.

You can book rooms or by calling directly 1-866-COBOURG (262-6874) (please ask for the special rate for Ontario Hooking Craft members) or by going to this link to book online,.  The special rate will be available until April 11.  Changes or cancellation are possible up to 72 hours prior to the arrival date.

Hampton Inn:  80 Henderson Street, Port Hope.  This is a bit further out, but is a new hotel with lovely facilities.  It offers a free hot deluxe buffet breakfast, indoor pool, fitness centre, and more.
